  is this gods organization?.

  after 50 yrs in, 25 as some type of servant in responsible position, i am beginning to wonder.. .

  to me, gods organization should be exactly what the bible says.

  Call from elder

  i received a call a few hours ago from an elder.of course he didn't call me to ask how i was or if i needed help.instead he told me that "the youth and some older brothers" of my congregation will gather (at another elder's house,you see 2 elders to "get a hold of the situation") to talk about the "internet,facebook etc dangers".i told him that i will go.hmmm...it's going to be an interesting conversation..

  As I understand, Peter isn’t a baptised witness. Therefore, he’s not under their authority.

  This isn’t a WTS-organised meeting, so there’s no obligation on Peter to attend. If the elders have anything to say to him, they can meet with him at his home with his parents there.

  Circuit Overseers, their roles, and their spouses

  my wife and i took a trip yesterday to deliver her camera to her mom so she may take it with her as she goes to kentucky where the need is greattm.

  her mom is currently still in virginia staying with some brothers there while she gets schooled in giving talks (at least i think that is what she is doing).

  i met the co's wife at the petersburg kh and after we dropped the camera off, my wife and i went to have dinner before returning home.. i ask about circuit overseers and their role because i was intrigued to learn that the kh we went to had an apartment for the co.. apparently, co's have no job of their own outside the watchtower activities and while my wife insisted that they did not 'take a vow of poverty' like the catholic clergy do, they technically do.

  In the 70s and 80s, most COs I knew lived in caravans as they traveled from town to town.

  In the 90s, they all developed mysterious food allergies, as the other poster said. Some were hypoglycemic, others couldn’t eat wheat and other certain foods. It made it very difficult to cater for them, and it always seemed that the same ones looked after them. Usually the elders and pioneers.

  this was on the news last night, it seems many people are having a hard time figuring out how to deal with it.. the man in the middle is a survivor of this camp, and he is surrounded by his children/grandschildren/great-grandchildren.

  is this video an insult to the people who died at aushwitz, or a celebration that life went on for the survivors ??.

  personally, i look at it 50 - 50, but a more time appropriate song might have been a more positive thing.

  It is ironic. Take my background, for example. I’m 85% European, but I am also part Greek so I have the dark features of Greek people (dark brown hair and eyes, tan easily etc).

  Yet there are Australian Aboriginals who are blonde with blue eyes who would be considered “black” by racial profilers, yet I’m darker than they are!

  According to Wiki, Ben Jealous' mother is black, and his father is white. So that makes him half white, half black.
